We hand over Figma files and get back themes that match them. That sounds like a low bar until you have worked with developers where it is not. He asks the awkward questions before starting rather than halfway through.
He rebuilt a site that took about eight seconds to load on a phone, which is where nearly all our enquiries come from. It is instant now. He also explained what was wrong in language I could actually repeat to my business partner.
